Hi there and welcome!

I am Alain A. Amirkhanian, founder and illustrator behind kronkAAArt.

As you’ll quickly notice, I have a strong passion for the Sweet Science. Boxing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

My love for the sport goes back to the 1980’s, when I would wake up in the middle of the night to watch big fights on a pay TV channel my parents could barely afford. It was a different era for boxing in France. Legends like Chavez Sr. and Holyfield came to showcase their skills and we celebrated our first world champion in over 30 years.

That’s also obviously when I first laced up a pair of gloves - with more or less success, but always with the same passion.

I love boxing for its values, its rich history and, above all, its fighters - not only the champions - stepping into the ring for a better life for themselves and their families.

Boxing is beautiful. It is also full of paradoxes, with fairytales and tragedies. It can be raw and subtle at the same time. Boxing procures emotions unlike any other sports.

My work first appeared on the cover of The Ring magazine in April 2020. Since then, I’ve had the honor of contributing multiple times to the 100+ years old iconic magazine. In November 2020, 8 pages of comics inspired by Mike Tyson’s youth was published in Le Magazine L’Équipe in France. In 2021, I collaborated for the first time with ESPN for fights like Fury-Wilder III and Crawford-Porter. In September 2022, I made the cover of UK’s Boxing News. In 2023, I was commissioned to create posters for the “Day of Reckoning” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 2026, my illustrations were for the time featured in Boxing Beat, Japan’s leading boxing magazine. My work has been commissioned by fighters, trainers, managers and promoters across the world.

Today, my scope is no longer limited to boxing. I had among others the privilege to create 20+ artworks for British rapper and actor Bugzy Malone’s ‘The Resurrection’ 2021 album. The artworks were used for a look book, CD slipcases, Spotify storylines and were advertised on billboards in the UK.

Feel free to explore the available prints and don’t hesitate to reach out for custom commissions.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoy the website as I know we share the same passion.
