Hi there! Hello and welcome!

I am the founder and illustrator/cartoonist for kronkAAArt.

As you can notice, I have a strong passion for the Sweet Science. Yes, I love boxing. I have been a boxing fan for the major part of my life. As far as I can remember.

The love goes back at least to the 1980’s, as a kid, waking up in the middle of the night to watch the big fights on a pay TV channel my parents could hardly afford. It was also a different era for boxing in France. The great Chavez Sr. and Holyfield were traveling to showcase their skills on French soil and we finally had again a world champion after a long 30 years wait.

That’s also obviously when I laced up a pair of gloves for the first time, with more or less success, but always with the same passion.

I love boxing for its old school values, its long and rich history. I love boxing for its fighters, not only the champions, stepping in the ring for a better life for them and their families.

Boxing is beautiful. It is also full of paradoxes, with fairytales and tragedies. Boxing can be raw and subtle at the same time. Boxing indeed procures emotions. The type of “emotions” that only this sport can create.

My work appeared for the first time on the cover of the April 2020 The Ring magazine. Since then, I’ve had the huge honour to contribute several times to the 100+ years old magazine. In November 2020, 8 pages of comics inspired by Mike Tyson’s youth appeared in Le Magazine L’Équipe. In 2021, I collaborated for the first time with ESPN’s platforms for fights like Fury-Wilder III and Crawford-Porter. In 2022, I made the cover of Boxing News’ September 1 issue. In 2023, I was asked to create posters for the “Day of Reckoning” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fighters, trainers, managers and promoters have commissioned my work.

Today, my work is no longer limited to boxing. I had among others the privilege to create 20+ artworks for British rapper and actor Bugzy Malone’s ‘The Resurrection’ 2021 album. The artworks were used for a look book, CD slipcases, Spotify storylines and were advertised on billboards in the UK.

I invite you to check out the available prints and contact me for custom made private commissions.

Thank you again for your visit. I hope you enjoy the website as I know we share the same passion.
